The Basics
01

What is Venue Ledger, exactly?

An event budgeting tool built for outdoor venues, campgrounds, and fairgrounds — model every cost, every revenue stream, and your real break-even ticket count before you sign a talent contract or lock a lineup.

02

Who is it actually for?

Campground and fairground operators, outdoor venue managers, and independent promoters running ticketed outdoor events. If you've ever guessed at a budget and found out too late you guessed wrong, this is for you.

03

Do I need to be technical to use it?

No. Every one of the 82 input fields has a hover tooltip explaining what it means and what it usually costs. If you can fill out a form, you can build a real budget in about 20 minutes.

Features & Capability
04

Does it handle multiple events per season?

Yes — and this is where it earns its keep. Per-event costs roll into a season-level budget with capital purchases (stage, sound, lighting) correctly amortized across every event, never double-charged.

05

Can I save and compare different scenarios?

Yes. Save unlimited event budgets, load them back, edit copies to try "what if" — different lineups, ticket prices, attendance targets. Compare margins side by side.

06

Can my team use it together?

Yes — companies get isolated accounts, and team owners invite their own staff. One company's events are never visible to another, ever — enforced at the database level, not just in the UI.

07

Can I export my numbers?

Yes. CSV for your own records or a formatted, board-ready PDF for sponsors, partners, or a board meeting. One click, no cleanup.

Pricing & Access
08

How much does it cost?

Three tiers: Solo Venue at $49/mo, Multi-Event Season at $129/mo, and Multi-Venue at custom pricing. See the full pricing page for what's in each — no per-seat games, no hidden fees.

09

Is there a free trial?

Not currently — Venue Ledger is being onboarded directly one venue at a time while we finalize launch pricing. Get in touch and we'll walk you through the calculator on a call before you commit to anything.

10

How do I get started?

Venue Ledger is currently onboarding early customers directly rather than through self-serve signup. Contact the team to set up your company account — early customers get priority input on what gets built next.

Data & Trust
11

Who owns the data I put in?

You do. Your event and budget data belongs to your company. We don't sell it, share it with other companies on the platform, or use it to train any AI model. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

12

What if I want to leave?

Export everything as CSV first, then request account deletion. No lock-in, no export throttling, no data hostage.
