Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

This is a working draft written to reflect what Venue Ledger actually does today. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on this as your binding terms of service, have it reviewed for your jurisdiction and business structure.

What Venue Ledger is

Venue Ledger is a budgeting and forecasting tool for outdoor events — campgrounds, fairgrounds, and independent venues. It helps you model costs, revenue, and break-even before you commit to a lineup or a season.

Accounts and access

Venue Ledger is currently onboarded directly, not through public self-serve signup. Each company account is set up individually, and access is granted per person within that company by the company's own team owner. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account.

Your data, your numbers

The budget and event data you enter belongs to you and your company. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't share it with any other company using the platform. See our Privacy Policy for how it's stored and protected.

Acceptable use

Use Venue Ledger for its intended purpose — planning and budgeting real events. Don't attempt to access another company's data, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or use the platform to break the law.

No financial or legal guarantee

Venue Ledger is a modeling and planning tool. The numbers it produces — break-even estimates, season forecasts, cost projections — are only as accurate as the figures you enter, and depend on assumptions (like ticket pricing and attendance) that are ultimately your judgment calls to make. Venue Ledger is not a substitute for professional financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and we make no guarantee that any projection will match real-world results.

Service availability

We aim to keep Venue Ledger available and reliable, but like any hosted service, occasional downtime or maintenance windows can happen. We're not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

Changes to the service

Venue Ledger is actively developed, and features, pricing, and these terms may change over time. Material changes will be communicated to account owners directly.

Ending an account

You can request account closure at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate acceptable use or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
